Training a Child

Ayatullah Shahabadi (ra), the Irfan teacher of Imam Khomeini (ra), advised that if, for example, your child needs shoes, although you will sooner or later get them, tell your child:

"My dear,  Dad must have money.  Do you not know that God is the Provider? Ask God to pay your father sooner so that he can buy you shoes."

This child will definitely pray and the father will definitely earn money.  The child knows the shoe came from God and falls in love with God;  That is, he learns from a young age that his father is only the mediator of sustenance.  In this case, the father has left his son's hands in the hands of God.
