Thursday Nights Are For Worship Only!

One of the caretakers of the Shrine of Imam Ali Ibn Musa Reza (as) met Sheikh Hassan Ali Nakhodaki (ra) on a Thursday night. Sheikh inquired of him as to where he was going, to which he replied:

"I am going to visit my grape garden to check if everything is okay."

Sheikh told him: "Today is Thursday night, and it is not right for you to do anything else except worship on this night. If you wish, I will send someone to guard your garden myself."

The caretaker agreed, and he spent the night in worship and went to check on his garden in the morning. He saw someone frozen like a statue on the wall of his garden. Upon calling him from afar and getting close, he was not responsive. Then he pulled him down and threw some water on him, by which he came to his senses and inquired as to who he was, to which he replied, "I was a robber. I was about to steal from the garden last night, but a black cat jumped in front of me and let out such a scream that it left me completely lifeless like a piece of wood."

The caretaker understood that it was Sheikh (ra) who sent that cat.
