Serving the Public

Haj Sheikh Hassan Ali Nakhodaki's (ra) house was never closed to the sick, the afflicted and the poor. People came to the Sheikh's house from time to time to get their problems solved but he never made a face, and even non-Muslims enjoyed his kindness. They resorted to him to meet their needs. His son writes about this:

"My late father, Hajj Sheikh Hassan Ali Nakhodaki (may God bless him and grant him peace) was ready at all hours of the day and night to meet the needs of the needy and helpless.

I had an offer one day to which I said: It is good for people to come when it is scheduled. He said: My son! He who serves the people for the pleasure of God should not set a time.
