Serving Sadaat

Ayatollah Hassan Ali Nakhodaki (ra) and his esteemed father had dedicated themselves to serving the Ahlulbayt of the Prophet (sawa) and their children, it had a special place in their lives. On the last day of his life, he said in his will:

"Know that doing abominable deeds (makrooh deeds) degrades the status of a servant of God. On the contrary, what raises the status of a servant is performing the recommended acts (mustahab deeds).

If I have reached a place, it has been due to the blessing of waking up at night and taking care of the recommended matters (mustahab deeds) and leaving the abominations (makrooh deeds);

But the essence and spirit of these deeds is to serve the honorable descendants of the Holy Prophet (sawa).

Then he instructs his son to perform daily prayers at their prime time (awal waqt) and try to fulfill the needs of the people. He says:

"Thirdly, you should consider Sadaat (descendants of Prophet (sawa) and Ahlulbayt (as)) very dear and respectful and spend whatever you have in his way and do not be afraid of poverty in this work."
