Salman Farsi (ra) Meets Sayyid Hashim Haddad (ra)

Ayatollah Abdul-Karim Kashmiri (ra) narrated, "Once, Sayyid Hashim Haddad (ra) with some of his companions visited the grave of Hazrat Salman Farsi (ra) in Mada'en. When he entered the shrine, he sat by the feet but quickly got up, changed his position, and sat by the head side of the grave.

After the visit, one of the companions said to Sayyid Hashim Haddad (ra), 'I swear to you, tell me why did you first sit by the feet side and then quickly moved towards the head side?'

He replied, 'When I sat by the feet, I saw Salman Farsi (ra) raised from his grave. He came to me and said, "You are a Syed, a son of Rasool Allah (sawaw), and in this situation, you are sitting by my feet. Get up and sit by my head."

So, I accepted what he wanted me to do.'"
