Meeting of Urafa vs Others' Meeting

"When we went to Qom, it was summer and because the seminary (Hawzah) was closed, many noble personalities were not in the seminary. But some of them found out that Sayyid Hashim Haddad (ra) has come to Iran, and came to visit him.

Hazrat Allama Sayyid Muhammad Husayn Tabataba'i (ra) was in Qom. I said to Sayyid Hashim Haddad (ra): "Do you want me to inform him so that he can come to meet you?!". He said: "I am impatient to meet him, but we are the ones who should go."

Therefore, I booked an appointment with Hazrat Allama. About two hours before noon, we were honored to meet them. After greetings, the meeting lasted for about an hour, no words were exchanged and both of them were silent. This was the appearance of their meeting, and what was exchanged inside them, only God, the infallible Imams (as) and Awliyaullah (ra) know.

Later, I asked Allama about Sayyid Hashim Haddad (ra) and he said, 'Agha e Haddad is a great man.' Sayyid Hashim Haddad's opinion was the same, he said exactly the same sentence, 'He (Allama Sayyid Muhammad Husayn Tabataba'i) is a great man.'"
