I Don't Want Anything from This World, Not Even an Inch of Its Dust!

Some days, he (Shaheed Ibrahim Hadi r.a) would abstain from eating. Then we all would criticize him and he would say "I have to prepare this body". He slept without a pillow and mattress even on the cold nights and when would start criticizing him, he would say "I have to prepare this body, this body has to adapt so It can remain in the grave for a long time."

Before a major operation, he rode a bike and came to our house and said:

"Pray that I don't return alive, I don't want anything from this world, not even an inch of its dust. I am desperate to avenge the slap on the face of Fatima Zahra (sa). I want to succeed and pass the test of Allah and achieve high marks so my soul can rest in the holy presence of Hazrat Zahra (sa)."
