Don’t Burn the Hearts of Creatures!

One of the Salehaan narrated to me: "Shaykh Rajab Ali Khayyat (ra) had a Mukashefa.

One day an old woman came to him and said, 'I have a young boy who is sick and the doctors are disappointed with his treatment;  what can I do to heal him?'

The Shaykh lowered his head and pondered for a moment, then said, 'Is your son a butcher?'

She said, 'Yes.'

Shaykh said, 'Nothing can be done!'

The old woman said, 'Why?'

Shaykh said, 'Because he beheaded a calf in front of his mother. And because of this cruelty, your son will die in the next two or three days!  Your son has burned the heart of an animal and that animal has sighed!'"

See, this young man burned the heart of an animal and what happened to him, then you hurt the heart of a human who is the master of creatures!  Woe to those people who burn the hearts of human beings, what do they want to answer Allah?!
