One of the martyr’s friends narrated that whenever we met Ibrahim Hadi (rh), he used to narrate stories of war heroes, their spirituality, trust and faith in Allah. We fell in love with him. In those days, (moral) corruption was at peak and quite a number of youngsters were committing sins related to their carnal desires.
One day, Ibrahim (ra) said: "Once upon a time, there was a war hero who used to wrestle with trees. People bore witness that he was so strong that he was an expert in uprooting trees."
We were again fascinated by his words. He continued: "There was a reason for this (incredible) strength. He never fulfilled his carnal desires (in a prohibited way) and never did anything which could end his strength sexually."
He advised us to keep ourselves busy at work or exercise and to not talk to women until we reach the age to get married because this could slowly lead us to destruction.
